Frequently Asked Questions

Is non-stick cookware safe?

Every coating we make is PFOA-, lead- and cadmium-free. Our classic ranges use a PTFE-based surface — safe at normal cooking temperatures; just don’t preheat it empty on high, and retire a scratched pan. GREEN STONE™ skips PTFE entirely.

What are "forever chemicals," in plain words?

PFAS — a family of compounds (PFOA is the famous one) that don’t break down in nature. PFOA has been out of our coatings entirely; GREEN STONE™ ceramic is made without any PTFE/PFAS chemistry at all.

Which surface lasts longest?

Stainless and cast iron, effectively forever — there’s nothing to wear off. IRONROC™’s reinforced coating is rated to 700,000 abrasion cycles. Ceramic trades some hard-wearing for the cleanest chemistry — treat it gently and it goes for years.

Do they all really work on induction?

Yes — every current range carries a full induction-compatible base, verified on every product page.
